

Short-Eared Owls are easy to see at Killsnake Wildlife Area in Chilton. They are dawn and dusk hunters. Cars line up along East-West Lemke Road to watch them fly above the grasslands. Eagles and Harriers can also be seen swooping around there.
Another viewing site is near Schwengel Waterfowl area and south of Jay Rd along Six-mile Road in Ozaukee county. See map to right.
