Start at the Milwaukee Pierhead Lighthouse south of Summerfest Grounds (there is parking back there at the east end of Erie St)-Lakeshore State Park-Bradford Beach-Linwood Treatment Plant
(per eBird findings we may also stop at other locations along the lake)

At forty-two feet seven inches tall, the deep red pierhead lighthouse is one of Milwaukee’s most popular photo spots. We’re just hoping to see some diving ducks.

Thanks to all who came out last week. We really enjoyed hanging out with everyone after the hike. It was a great walk in the West Meadow and lovely sighting of a Pileated Woodpecker. Did anyone notice it’s sex? Jeff captured one of the many bluebirds we saw.
