With the snow, the melt and the re-freeze that will happen overnight, we think the trails will be hazardous and the birds hunkered down.

Today I had a lovely bird surprise. While walking the dog in the bright afternoon sun, I heard a strange call. I looked all around to try and place it. Finally looked up to see 8 Tundra swans flying over!
