BIPOC Birding Club of Wisconsin
From their home page: The BIPOC Birding Club of Wisconsin is a community of people of color who love the outdoors and the birds and beauty of natural Wisconsin and wish to connect with others who share the same passion. Our field trips and events are open to BIPOC birders and allies of all skill levels and interests. Join us! They offer many field trips and bird education programs from their Madison and Milwaukee chapters

Great Lakes Bird Observatory (formerly Western Great Lakes Bird and Bat Observatory) They manage the Wisconsin MOTUS project using radio telemetry to track birds and bats as well as promoting neighborhood pollinator gardens.

Natural Resources Foundation of Wisconsin
Protect Wisconsin’s land, water, and wildlife is the NRF WI’s mission. They run the awesome summer field trips all around Wisconsin for butterflies, birds, frogs, landforms and more.

Wisconsin Bird Conservation Partnership
A partnership of birding organizations, nature centers, hunter and fishing groups, land trusts, universities and businesses to conserve and protect birds and their habitats

WSO – Wisconsin Society for Ornithology
Since 1939 the WSO has been supporting ornithology research, conservation of bird habitats and promoting bird enjoyment. WSO supports the Breeding Bird Atlas, offers birding field trips throughout the year and around the state, as well as managing the WISBIRDN list for sharing bird sightings. Join to support Wisconsin’s Bird population and for the fun of it.
National Organizations

American Birding Association
All about the recreational birder! Increasing knowledge and enjoyment of birders. They have webinars/classes, field trips and maintain continent lists as well as the big year lists.

American Bird Conservancy
Advocates for bird and habitat protection nation-wide. They lobby for bills in Congress, do testing of anti-window collision products and have species information with pictures.

Audubon Society
Their goal is protecting birds and the places they need and promoting bird-friendly legislation. Birding is also part of their mission. Audubon chapters are found through out the nation. Cornell Lab of Ornithology
They maintain eBird, All About Birds, Merlin ID tools, and Bird Academy Online Birding Classes. Oh and they do worldwide avian bird research
