First Sunday Birders Camping Trip thus no organized birding on Sunday.
Birding elsewhere: Tuesday mornings 8:00am at Kohler-Andrae State Park. Led by Janet and Andy Raddatz along a marsh and around a pond followed by a trail through woods. The diverse habitat means some fun birds!

Shorewood Nature Preserve, Monday July 3
Nice hour birding with a pair of Red-Headed Woodpeckers as the highlight!
Two hours of pulling pachysandra on the south side of the property was very satisfying. Gave those beautiful Ostrich Ferns some room to spread their fronds.

Mequon Nature Preserve, Sunday Jun 25
Beautiful day! Saw Kildeer, Dickcissels and a Brown Thrasher right away! The middle of the walk was fillied with sparrows: Song, Savannah and Clay-Colored. The walk ended with a pair of Eastern Meadowlarks carrying food. Andy did a great summary with pictures on Signs of Life in Estabrook Park
