Sunday, Nov 12 8:00am at South Shore Yacht Club just north of South Shore Park, 2300 E Nock St, Milwaukee, WI 53207
From there can decide what other Lake points to try. Currently a lovely Long-Tail Duck swimming around there.
EDIT: My bad. LT duck is at South Milwaukee Yacht Club across from Grant Park beach

Last Week:
Lake Michigan was flat, the sun was shining, no wind, nice November temps. We met at Coal Dock Park in Port Washington and headed into the Avian sanctuary just south of the parking lot. Alex pointed out the Peregrine Falcon sitting at the very top of the power tower. We searched the beach for American Flamingos – no luck. Continuing our walk around the sanctuary we saw American Goldfinch, American Tree Sparrows and Juncos. Back in the park we headed to the southeast tip, inside the break wall were three Red-breasted Mergansers and a Bufflehead.
It was looking like Marilyn’s saying:
No sun,
No birds,
No fun,
November
But then we found the bird action: Snow Buntings walked along the far rock line. And a Dunlin was spotted coming in for a landing on a close rock line adjacent to the canal. On the dock side we saw a Ruddy Duck, a Horned Grebe and a Double-Crested Cormorant sunning. As there were not more birds calling to us, we headed for coffee at Java Dock. For more pictures, see Andy’s blog Signs of Life in Estabrook Park.
