Helen MacDonald, author of H is for Hawk, has a new book, Vesper Flights. She will be giving a virtual event Sept 17 in conjunction with Boswell’s Books and Schlitz Audubon Nature Center. Proceeds benefits SANC’s raptor program. Tickets are $40 and limited.

Riveredge Noel J Cutright Bird Club is having virtual and in-person meetings. First Tuesday of the month. The next one, Oct 6 at 7pm, is on Julia Robson’s 345-mile walk to bring attention to the Great Lakes.
