UPDATE: Youtube link for David Allen Sibley talk added. Great talk with pictures!
David Allen Sibley’s newest book, “What It’s Like to Be a Bird” is treasure trove of bird facts. His talk with Charles Hagner is on the Boswell Book’s YouTube channel and the book can be ordered from Boswell.
Upcoming release is a feather book by Casey MacFarland, Peterson Guide to North American Bird Nests. I saw a talk he gave and this is going to be a fascinating book!

Even some of the more accessible islands in that area have some great shorebird spots. My wife and I were down there for two weeks last April and saw hundreds of whimbrel’s and wished we’d known about this special spot then although I’m not sure we could have ever gotten there. We were on Fripp, St. Helena and Hilton Head
